Ash Hand has told TheCheckeredFlag.co.uk that he feels he personally did everything possible to win the 2015 Renault…
The final race is proving to be an exciting climax to the GT4 driver championship. With 6 teams potentially in the mix for the title, the last race at Donnington will be a thrilling encounter.
Ashley Hand and Tom Canning who drive the TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 have an 8.5 point advantage heading into the final weekend on the 14th and 15th September.
After the last race, Ash commented “We have taken the lead in the overall GT4 Championship, and I do think that Donington is going to be a really strong circuit for us. I believe that we will go to Donington and win. Some drivers can go into races and think about points, but we need to go there and maximise everything at the weekend like we have been doing. We need to go there with a mindset that we are going to win.”
Donnington is one of the most internationally renowned and historically significant circuits in the world and has benefited from a multi-million pound set of improvements. It has a track length of 2.487 miles and a fantastic track to end the season on.
“Both championships are going down to the wire which is always our plan, to make sure we’re set for the Donington Decider. GT4 was good with some very fired up young drivers and for those in the battle it was a great result.” said Tom Ferrier, TF Sport Director.
